Another row with Colombia

Another row flared up between the "brother countries" of Ecuador and Colombia in late March, following a cross-border assault by the Colombian military which left two men dead. The latest row over Colombia's lack of respect for Ecuador's territorial integrity followed Quito's decision to denounce Colombia at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva for its continued use of aerial spraying techniques to eliminate coca plantations on the border.
